BEL Probationary Engineer Recruitment Exam Pattern
- The CBT will be of TWO(2) hours duration
- The written examination will be in ONLINE mode and the question paper would consist of 120 nos. of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) (i.e 100 Technical Questions and 25 General Aptitude and Reasoning Questions) to be answered in a maximum time of 2 hours.
- The medium of written examination shall be in English / Hindi only.
- Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be negative marking for wrong answers; 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be awarded for unattempted / marked for review questions. The question paper will be bilingual i.e., English and Hindi only. However, in case of any error/variation in Hindi, the English version of the question shall be valid.
- The candidate belonging to General /OBC (NCL)/EWS & ESM need to score a minimum of 35% to clear the Computer Based Test and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD need to score a minimum of 30%

Salary for BEL Probationary Engineer

Selection Process for BEL Recruitment 2025 for Probationary Engineer
- Selection will be done through a written examination and interview for Probationary Engineer
- Based on the performance in the computer based test, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5
- Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in both the computer based test and interview. The weightage for Compute based test is 85 marks and interview is 15 marks.
