Senior Research Scientist (Electronics):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (B.E. or B. Tech.) or
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (ME or M. Tech) in the field of Electronics & Telecommunications, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls, Microwaves or Masters in Electronics (M.Sc. Electronics) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks
- 5 years of design and development experience.
Senior Research Scientist (Physics):
- Master’s Degree in Science (MSc) Physics from a recognized university OR
- B. Tech. (Engineering Physics) from IIT/NIT with a minimum 55% marks
- Desirable: Candidates with experience in processing of vacuum tubes.
- Experience: 5 years of design and development experience
Research Scientist (Electronics, RF & Microwaves):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (B.E. or B. Tech.) or
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (ME or M. Tech) in the field in Electronics & Telecommunications, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls, Microwaves or

Selection Process for SAMEER Recruitment 2024
- Candidates applying for SRS and RS posts who fulfil the prescribed qualifications shall be required to appear for written test(s) for screening of candidates.
- Candidates applying for Project Assistant and Project Technician posts who fulfil the prescribed qualifications shall be required to appear for written test and/or skill test for screening of candidates.
- Candidates shortlisted after the screening tests shall require to appear for personal interview. Date, Time and Venue will be announced online subsequently. Kindly follow our webpage link http://sameer.gov.in
- Candidates who fulfil the prescribed qualifications will be able to download the Identity Card directly via weblink. A printout of the ID is required to be presented for the screening test and interview.
- Final selection will be based on performance in the interview which will be held at the venue (unless instructed otherwise) as mentioned in the admit card.
