Assistant Foreman (E&T) (Trainee)
- Matriculate or equivalent examination passed from any recognized Board of examination; &
- Diploma or relevant and higher qualification (Minimum 3 year course) in Electronics Engineering from any institute recognized by the Government.
Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) (Trainee)
- Matriculate or equivalent examination passed from any recognized Board of examination; &

Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee)

NLC Assistant Foreman Exam Pattern
- The CBT will be of ONE Hour Thirty Minutes (1.5 Hr) duration
- Computer Based Test will be conducted separately for each post. The Computer Based Test will be of 100 Marks for 90 minutes duration (in one sitting), comprising two sections (Section-A & Section-B); Section ‘A’ will consist of technical knowledge (discipline related) with 70 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and Section ‘B’ will consist of General Knowledge, General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability and Quantitative Aptitude with 30 marks multiple choice questions (MCQs).
- Each question will carry 01 mark and there
- The written examination will be in ONLINE mode and the question paper would consist of 100 nos. of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be answered in a maximum time of 1:30 hours.
- The medium of written examination shall be in Hindi / English only.
- The minimum percentage to qualify the written examination will be 50% for General/EWS/OBC, 40% for the SC/ST/PWD categories. The cut –off marks specified would be applicable in the overall marks (i.e., Technical/Generic Combined) as well as for each section (Technical/Generic) separately.
