Educational Qualifications BTSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2023
Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Candidate should have 3 (three) years full time Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized College/ Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks (General/ OBC(NCL)/EWS) / 60% marks (SC/ST/PwBD) taking average of all the semesters, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester / year by the Institute / University
Junior Engineer (Electrical)
- Candidate should have 3 (three) years full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized College/ Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks (General/ OBC(NCL)/EWS) / 60% marks (SC/ST/PwBD) taking average of all the semesters, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester / year by the Institute / University

BTSC Junior Engineer Exam Pattern
- There will be a total of 100 questions in the question paper, in which 80 questions will be on field knowledge and 20 questions on general studies. Will be of subject. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English language.
- The medium of written examination shall be in Hindi/English only.
- The question paper will consists of 80% questions from Technical Area and 20% questions from Generic Area. (Syllabus Attached as Annexure A) Every question will carry 1 (one) mark and there will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
- The minimum percentage to qualify the written examination will be Written by 40% for General Category, 36.5% for Backward Classes, 34% for Extremely Backward Classes, and Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes, Women and Disabled (Divyag) in the examination It will be mandatory for the candidates to obtain the prescribed minimum qualifying marks of 32% otherwise they will be out of competition.
