Educational Qualifications for CPRI Recruitment 2023
Engineering Officer Grade-1
- Candidate should have a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering /Electronics & Communication Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /Civil Engineering from recognized university or institute.
- Valid GATE Score of the year 2021 or 2022 or 2023
Scientific / Engineering Assistant
- Candidate should have a first Class B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University with 5 years of experience in the relevant subject field
Scientific/Technical Assistant - ‘A’ Group-B (Non-Gazetted)
- Candidate should have a First Class 3 year Diploma in Engineering /Technology with 5 years of experience in relevant field such as Electrical, Civil, Mechanical.
Technician Grade 1
- Candidate should have 10+ ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical.
Assistant Grade II
- Candidate should have first Class BA/ BSc. / B.Com/ BBA / BBM/ BCA degree from a recognized university and minimum Grade-B certificate in Basic Computer Course (BCC) conducted by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) on the closing date of recruitment application.
Upper Age Limit for NIC Recruitment 2023
The upper age limit is the age as on the last date prescribed for registration of on-line application i.e. 14.04.2023 (Inclusive of the date). Minimum age - 18 years. The age limit mentioned for the posts is Relaxable as per Govt. of India norms

- Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Nagpur, Dhanbad, Patna, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Chennai. Every effort will be made to allot the exam centre as preferred by the candidates.
- However, CPRI reserves the right to allot any exam centre/city other than the one he/she has opted for. No request for change of centre for examination shall be entertained.
